As Hoffman Registers As Sex Offender in Nebraska, Paxton’s Epstein Style Sweetheart Deal Under New Fire
Chron: “Hoffman left jail after serving less than a month…the fallout from his plea deal still follows Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.”
Austin, Texas – The fallout from Ken Paxton’s Epstein style sweetheart deal continues after admitted child predator Adam Hoffman was required to register as a sex offender in Nebraska… but not Texas after Paxton’s “unusually lenient” plea deal.
Hoffman was arrested on felony continuous sexual abuse of a child, punishable by up to life in prison, but was let back onto Texas streets by a Paxton plea deal that allowed him to serve less than 30 days jail time and did not require him to register as a sex offender. Texans have been protesting and outraged, with local Republican elected officials calling Paxton’s deal “a slap on the wrist and a spit in the face to the victim and his family.”
Texas Democratic Party spokesperson Ryan Martin said:
“Texans deserve a Senator who is tough on crime, not one who protects pedophiles. Hoffman will be registered as a sex offender in Nebraska, but not Texas because of Paxton’s corruption and incompetence. Texans won’t forget Paxton protecting pedophiles with an Epstein-style sweetheart plea deal come November.
